Our Sarcoid Removal Cream provides a safe, all natural method of removing sarcoids from your horse. We have experienced a very high success rate with this product, and when followed up with our Wound and Hoof Healing Cream the horse's skin has no problem healing after the sarcoid is removed.
Step 1: It halts the growth of the sarcoid.
The plants used to make the Sarcoid Removal Cream such as bloodroot and chaparral have been used on a variety of skin conditions for many years, even by the Native Americans. A key reason these are so successful is they're able to be absorbed into the skin and penetrate all the way through the problem area. Once our cream penetrates through it changes the fluids in and around the sarcoid to become more caustic, caustic being harsh or corrosive. This prevents the sarcoid cells from growing further.
Step 2: The body decides to treat the sarcoid as a foreign object.
When your body detects something within it not growing at the same rate as the rest of the body it identifies it as a foreign object. Like it would a splinter, the body does what it can to eject the foreign object from it. The rejection process begins by shutting off nutrients to the area immediately around the foreign object, in this case a sarcoid, and a slick mucus forms around the object.
Step 3: The sarcoid is ejected from the skin.
The mucus that forms around the sarcoid will take on a green color over time, but it will wash away from the outer edges of the sarcoid around day 10. This will leave the sarcoid loose and held on by a thin strip of tissue we call the root. Usually between day 10 and day 14 the sarcoid will simply fall out, especially while washing the horse. A hole is left behind by the sarcoid. To protect it from bacteria and help it heal quickly, we suggest using our Wound and Hoof Healing Cream to follow up the Sarcoid Removal Cream.
- The body rejects the sarcoid and only the sarcoid, leading to as little damage to your horse as possible.
- The Sarcoid Removal Cream always attacks the 'root' mentioned in the explanation of how it works. That thin strip of tissue that extends down into the body from the sarcoid is necessary to remove to keep the sarcoid from growing back. Cryosurgery often doesn't get the root, leading to repeated freezings of the sarcoid. You can't see the difference between the root and the surrounding tissue with the naked eye, so when cutting the sarcoid out it's up to the surgeon to decide how wide and deep to cut in hopes of cutting out all of the sarcoid so it doesn't grow back. This can lead to a much larger wound left behind than is needed.
Many people probably believe using surgery to cut the sarcoid out or freezing it with liquid nitrogen in cryosurgery is a more reliable method. There are two big reasons why using the Sarcoid Removal Cream is superior.
- Open the container and use one finger to scoop out enough cream to cover the entire surface of the sarcoid. Only the surface of the sarcoid needs covered, not the surrounding skin.
- Reapply the cream once a day for 3 to 5 days, or until the surface of the sarcoid becomes black and feels hard.
- It will take about 14 days after no longer applying the cream for the body to complete the task of rejecting the sarcoid from the body.
- Product Recommendation - For best results use our Wound and Hoof Healing Cream to prevent the skin around the sarcoid from drying and cracking, saving your horse from discomfort. It also protects the open hole the sarcoid leaves when it falls out.
We suggest you coat the sarcoid and surrounding 1 inch of skin with the Wound and Hoof Healing Cream each day beginning when you stop applying the Sarcoid Removal Cream and continue until the hole the sarcoid leaves behind is closed.
